This agreement outlines the expectations for members of the Mosaic Mustangs Homeschool Co-op. By registering for this website, members accept this agreement and commit to actively participating in the group and adhering to the guidelines outlined below:
1. Attendance Commitment
- I will attend at least two (3) meetings per month as part of my commitment to the group.
- If I am unable to attend two (3) meetings in a given month, I will notify the group administrators in advance to explain my absence.
- If I fail to attend at least two (3) meetings per month and do not notify the administrators to explain my absence by the end of the calendar month, I understand that my website membership will be revoked. However, my Facebook group membership may remain active.
2. Communication
- I understand the importance of clear and timely communication in maintaining the group’s structure and success.
- If I foresee any conflicts with my ability to meet attendance requirements, I will promptly inform the administrators through the agreed communication channels ([e.g., email, group chat, etc.]).
3. Active Participation
- I acknowledge that being part of this group involves contributing to activities, discussions, and the overall goals of Mosaic Mustangs Homeschool Co-op.
- I will make a consistent effort to be an engaged and supportive member of the community.
4. Parental Responsibility
- Parents/guardians are fully responsible for the care, supervision, and behavior of their children at all group events, meetings, and activities.
- The group does not provide childcare or take responsibility for monitoring children’s activities.
5. Participation at Own Risk
- Participation in Mosaic Mustang Homeschool Co-op activities is at the sole risk of each family.
- Members acknowledge that the group, its administrators, and volunteers are not responsible for injuries, illnesses, accidents, or other incidents that may occur during group events.
- Parents/guardians assume all responsibility for their children’s safety and well-being during group activities.
6. Membership Dues
Mosaic Mustangs Homeschool Co-op collects dues twice per year to help support our group activities and shared resources.
- Payment Schedule: Dues are collected August 15th & January 15th.
- Amount: $40 per family. Families with 5+ children will add $5 per child over 4.
- Purpose: To assist our leadership team in funding our group’s supplies and activities.
7. Code of Conduct
- Members and their children must treat others with respect, kindness, and fairness.
- Ongoing disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior that is not addressed by the parent or guardian may result in the termination of membership.
- Photo Sharing Policy
- Photos that include other people’s children should be uploaded only to the website galleries and our shared Telegram chat, not shared in the Facebook group.
- If you wish to post a photo featuring another person’s child in the Facebook group, you must first obtain explicit permission from that child’s parent or guardian.
8. Liability Waiver
- By participating in Mosaic Mustangs Homeschool Co-op, members agree to release and hold harmless the group, its administrators, and any affiliated individuals from liability for any personal injury, property damage, or loss that may occur during group events or use of Co-op resources.
- Members agree to assume full responsibility for any damage or harm caused by themselves or their children.
8. Contingency
- Membership in Mosaic Mustangs Homeschool Co-op is voluntary, and continued participation is contingent on adherence to the terms outlined in this agreement.
- Members understand that failure to comply with these terms may result in suspension or removal from the group.
9. Agreement to the Terms
I understand that fulfilling these commitments helps create a welcoming, collaborative, and productive environment for all members. I accept the above terms and agree to uphold them throughout my membership in Mosaic Mustangs Homeschool Co-op.
